S.E.M.T. Pielstick takes its name from its founder, Engineer G. Pielstick, who worked on the development of the diesel engine at MAN in Augsburg before starting his own firm in France during 1947. In 1988, MAN in collaboration with MTU-Friedrichshafen took over S.E.M.T. Pielstick, which then became part of MAN B&W Diesel Group. A Service Engineer, delegated from France Home organization St. Nazaire, as a representative is based at Philippine site. His task is in connection with the support for the customer in all technical aspects as well as providing the clients with necessary spare parts. We then make sure that a Pielstick engine, after necessary repairs, maintains its high quality standards. |
